Terms & Conditions:
SaharaMakeup aims to provide a complete, personal and prompt service to all customers.
 

Bridal Trial and Bridal Terms:
- Time Limit: 2/3 hours hair / makeup.
- Extra time: £20 per hour.
- Extra looks: £20 per look e.g. Walima / Registry. Concentrating eye makeup only.

The trial does not not include price for the lashes or hair pins/pieces. These will need to be retained by us at the end of the trial. Anything taken away by mistake will be charged and added to your bill. If you would like to keep your hair styled then you will be charged full price for party hair up-do. Please note. Bridal makeup needs to be heavy for photographic reasons. So please have your blouse or chunni with you. If that is not possible an alternate chunni will suffice. Any changes to the booking agreement must be confirmed in writing by both sides via email. All rights reserved.

After the Trial.:

You can always come back and tweak anything we tried or discussed during your trial. This is only offered once you have paid a reservation fee to book your bridal package. You are given a week to consider your decision. Outside of that time we are under no obligation to notify you if the date is no longer available. Any pictures taken during the trial maybe used for promotional purposes after your wedding date. Regardless of whether or not you actually book us for your wedding day.

Notification of changes:

We urge you to keep in touch during the run up to your wedding day with any updates regarding your hair and makeup. For example, if you change your hair colour and we need to reconsider the hair pieces/padding.

Confirmation of Offer:
Any price offers or discounts on packages must be confirmed via email. 

Payment of Course Fees:
This is a privately held and professionally accredited course. Therefore, payment options must be agreed in advance. The cost of the course fees must be paid in full and cleared before the course start date. Any installment payment plans must be agreed and set up before the start of the course. At least two payments must cleared before the course start date. All the other payments must be made via bank transfer. Please note - the Diploma certificate and the Course Manual will not be issued until full and final payment of course fees has been cleared.

Training Course Paying By Installment Plans:
If you wish to pay by installments (either via PayPal or direct payment (subject to agreement by SaharaMakeup)) you will need to discuss this and agree an payment plan with SaharaMakeup before paying a deposit.

1-2-1 Teaching Availability:
One to one is not guaranteed where courses have been booked via online offers, sales, instalment payments, or any other discounts. We reserve the right to book in up to a maximum of 2 students per session.

Academy Model Hire Fees:
Please note there is a minimum charge of £50 per day for Model Hire upto a Maximum of £150 for 3 days.

Bridal Training Makeup Demonstrations:
Please note that extra time is given for you to take your time and finish the makeup look as demonstrated

Bridal Makeup Training Packages:
These training courses do NOT include professional photography and lighthing services or access to asian suits/jewellery. You may NOT request a model/suit/jewellery for a photoshoot. You are permitted to photograph and video your work on the model, as you go. The cost and time of providing the services to accomodate a professional photoshoot is is signficant and we are not providing this currently.

Photo-shoot Packages:
Discounts and offers do not apply to Photoshoot Packages. All makeup must be kept clean. Any damages or spillages to equipment, makeup, outfits or jewellery must be paid for.

After-care and Support:
Please note that ongoing support, once you have completed the course, is subject to our discretion.

Reservation Policy:
By paying the reservation fee you agree that the fee covers our administration cost for reserving your space. If you have paid a reservation fee and cancel your appointment without good reason (for example: if you change your mind), you will forefit the reservation fee to SaharaMakeup for loss of earnings due to our reserving your space and therefore not taking on other customers in your place. If your reservation is cancelled by mutual agreement, your reservation fee will be returned less any transaction fees.

Cancellation/Refund Rights:
We are fully compliant with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations) Act 2000, which allows for a 7 day “cooling off” period for bookings taken online.

All bookings are confirmed by a reservation fee only. The fee paid is taken as a payment to cover the cost of the reservation. This fee is in lieu of an administration fee which covers the cost of administration for services rendered during your booking and trial process. All reservation fees are non-refundable.

If you decide to cancel a booking due to a change of mind then you must contact us first by telephone anytime up to 7 working days after booking an appointment. You will forfeit the reservation fee paid if you cancel a service. Cancelling your booking will incur an administration fee upto the value of any reservation fee paid. This administration fee covers the cost of travel, makeup, trial and labour charges and loss of earnings as a consequence of holding a reservation on your behalf.

In the event that we are unable to make the booking  – We will try to find you a replacement make-up artist. Cancellation by us prior to your trial will result in your booking fee being refunded in full. Cancellation by us prior to your wedding day will result in a full refund of your wedding day reservation fee and trial costs.

In the event of an accident or severe illness, inclement weather conditions/act of god affecting us getting to you on the actual wedding day we will try and find you a replacement artist to look after your needs.

We cannot be held responsible for any mechanical breakdowns, or for any delays caused by events beyond our control. In the event that we cannot find anyone else available then the full extent of our liabilities’ would be to give you a full refund.

All payments made to SaharaMakeup for Bridal Services and Training Courses must be paid in full before the due date, unless otherwise agreed in advance with SaharaMakeup. We reserve the right to refuse commencement of training unless payment is cleared. Certificates gained on course completion will not be issued untill all outstanding payments are cleared. We are not liable for any delay caused by late payments or clearance of funds.

Please Note. We reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund, if at any time during the trial any member of your bridal party becomes abusive or violent or displays any behaviour that we feel is offensive.

We cannot be held liable for any consequential or indirect loss, whether this be loss of business, profits, or damages of any kind whatsoever in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of the use of our website or the products and services offered. Nothing in these purchase terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Our terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Covid-19 Safety Guidance:
We are aware that many of you will be anxious about your safety, but please be reassured that as always, the safety and well-being of our students and staff is at the forefront of every decision. As with all industries at present, in order to be able to open there are strict government guidelines and procedures we have to follow, to keep both students and staff safe. Being able to open does come with some constraints, so we will be training strictly 1 student at a time, and ensure safety measures are in place to reduce any risk (including asking you to undergo temperature checks on a daily basis, providing sanitary gel, etc). You will also need to sign a Covid-19 agreement form. Please refer regularly to the to the Government website for up-to-date advice on working in close contact services during the COVID-19 pandemic:
